Panel heaters offer fast, controllable warmth with modern low-profile styling; oil-filled radiators hold heat for longer, gentler comfort; and heated towel rails and bars keep bathrooms warm and towels dry. Mirror heaters and demisters keep bathroom mirrors clear without extractor noise, and electric boilers provide a compact hot water and heating solution where gas isn't available.

Every product is trade-priced with manufacturer warranties. If you need help sizing a heater to a room, choosing between hard-wired and plug-in options, or matching thermostats and controls, call our team for expert advice.

Electric Heating Buying Guide

Everything you need to spec the right electric heater for the job.

As a rule of thumb, allow 80–100 W per m² for a well-insulated room with double glazing, and 120–150 W per m² for older or poorly insulated rooms. A 12 m² bedroom typically needs a 1.0–1.2 kW panel heater or oil-filled radiator. For bathrooms, add a heated towel rail sized to the wall space rather than the room area — comfort and drying capacity matter more than raw kW.

Electric Heating FAQs

Running cost depends on wattage and hours used. At a UK unit price of ~27p/kWh, a 1 kW panel heater running for 4 hours a day costs about £1.08/day. Thermostatic control and TPI (time-proportional) modulation reduce runtime significantly — expect 30–50% lower actual cost than raw wattage suggests once the room is up to temperature.
